A. Being a natural light photographer, I prefer to shoot in outdoor spaces. Favorite locations include Fontainebleu State Park, Audubon Park, and City Park. In some locations, an entrance fee or permit fee may be required. This will be discussed at the time of booking.

A. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful. For family photos try your best to coordinate colors, and avoid busy patterns.

A. As a mother, I understand that little ones don't always want to sit still for the camera. That's ok! I use playful techniques to involve them in the photoshoot. I usually take a few posed photos in the beginning, then I let the "kids be kids" and get more natural looking shots. I've seen it all. They can take a break if/when they need to. I try to work quickly, but I allow up to one hour for photo shoots. I always recommend bringing snacks, as this can greatly help in the event of a meltdown!

A. Your photos are edited on a color calibrated screen, and only certain labs will maintain the colors and quality of your digital images. Mpix (mpix.com) is the only online consumer lab that I know will give you a beautiful product. I am not responsible for color discrepancies if other labs are used.
